Ajith Fernando is the teaching director of Youth for Christ in Sri Lanka and previously served as the ministry’s national director for 35 years. He and his wife, Nelun, are active in a church ministering primarily to the urban poor, and his ministry includes counselling and mentoring younger staff members and pastors. He is the author of over 20 books published in 24 languages. Ajith and his wife live in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Christopher Ash is Writer-in-Residence of Tyndale House, Cambridge, England. He is the author of a full-length commentary on Job, Job: the Wisdom of the Cross and a brief introduction, Trusting God in the Darkness.
David Burge is a pastor and teaches New Testament at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. His academic interest is in the life and theology of the Apostle Peter, and the ways in which Peter helps us to appreciate Jesus. He has written and published several books, including 2 Peter: Faith in a Sceptical World and First-Century Guides to Life and Death: Epictetus, Philo and Peter.
David Sanford loves God's Word and has served as the author, co-author, editor, managing editor, or executive editor for more than a dozen Bible and Bible-related projects. He and his wife, Renée Sanford, a noted author and editor in her own right, live in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States of America.
Douglas Estes (PhD, Nottingham) is Associate Professor of New Testament and Practical Theology at South University. He is the editor of Didaktikos: Journal of Theological Education, and is a regular science contributor at Christianity Today. Douglas has written or edited eight books, as well as numerous essays, articles, and reviews for both popular and scholarly publications. He also served in pastoral ministry for sixteen years.
Eileen Poh was a lawyer for some years before doing full-time theological studies. Her doctoral thesis (at King’s College London) examines the social relationships between Christians and non-Christians in Asia Minor in the second half of the first century AD. Eileen lectures in Biblical Studies at Discipleship Training Centre, Singapore. She is married to Philip Satterthwaite.
Dr. Gary Inrig has been serving Trinity Church since 1992. A native of Canada, he has been in pastoral ministry for more than thirty years and has served in Christian Ministry for over forty years. With an extensive conference ministry in the United States and Canada, he has spoken in countries on each of the continents. Gary is the author of ten books, including Pure Desire, The Parables, True North, Whole Marriages in a Broken World, Forgiveness, and Hearts of Iron, Feet of Clay. Gary and his wife, Elizabeth, have three married children, Janice, Stephen, and Heather; and eight grandchildren.
J.R. Hudberg and his wife, Heidi, live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with their two young boys. He was born in Grand Rapids and attended college in Canada (where he met Heidi). After spending time in Ohio, Montana, and California, he returned “home.” In the garden, on a boat, or in the woods, J.R. spends as much time as he can with family and friends enjoying God's creation. He is the executive editor for Our Daily Bread Ministries Discovery Series booklets and is a regular contributor to the Insights for Our Daily Bread.
Khan Hui Neon is the former Director of English Content Development in Our Daily Bread Ministries, Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Our Daily Bread Ministries, Reverend Khan served as a pastor in Singapore as well as the Chairman of the Singapore Baptist Convention for several years. His passion is to build up the body of Christ through the ministry of God’s Word.
Michael Wittmer is Professor of Systematic Theology at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and author of several books including Becoming Worldly Saints, The Bible Explainer, and The Last Enemy. He loves his wife Julie, their three children, and Asian cuisine.
Mike Raiter is a preacher, preaching trainer and former Principal of the Melbourne School of Theology in Australia. He is now Director of the Centre for Biblical Preaching and the author of a number of books, including Stirrings of the Soul, which won the 2004 Australian Christian Book of the Year award.
Peter Lau has been lecturing at Seminari Theoloji Malaysia since 2010. He is a trained medical doctor, and also holds a Ph.D. in Old Testament. He has published on Ruth, Ezekiel, and Psalms. Peter is married to Kathryn and they have three children.
Dr Philip Satterthwaite has been a Lecturer in Old Testament and Biblical Hebrew at the Biblical Graduate School Of Theology in Singapore since 1998, and was its principal from 2011 to 2019. His main research areas are in the Old Testament’s historical and wisdom books, and he has authored several books.
Robert Solomon served as Bishop of The Methodist Church in Singapore from 2002-2012. He has an active itinerant preaching and teaching ministry in Singapore and abroad. He is the author of more than 25 books, including The Race, The Conscience, The Sermon of Jesus, and Faithful to the End.
Sim Kay Tee is a Bible teacher and writer of Our Daily Bread Ministries. Based in Singapore, K.T. writes for the Discovery Series Bible Study guides, the Journey Through Series devotional, and is a regular contributor to the Insights for Our Daily Bread. K.T. has taught the Bible in various countries. He has three daughters and one granddaughter.
